Robert Burns (1759-1796) is a cultural icon and the national
poet of Scotland. Hailing from Ayrshire, Burns collected folk songs from across
Scotland, adapted many and wrote many new compositions of his own. His songs
are known the world over: it’s almost certain that you reading this will have
heard ‘Auld Lang Syne’, if not many other compositions among his well-known
verse. He is depicted here in his iconic late-eighteenth century outfit.
Stands 9.5cm in height and is cast from high quality 100% lead-free pewter. Presented on a base of polished wood, using off-cuts from our bagpipe workshops.
Cast and finished by our team of dedicated craftsmen in our workshop in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland.
Pewter figures are usually ready to ship within a day or two if not in stock.
